DESCRIPTION:AUTOMATIC LOVERS\nAutomatic Lovers from Madrid are a band driven by loud guitars, dirty riffs, and a love for early UK punk and proto-punk and we’re ready to blast their first album into your earholes after releasing a qucikly sold out 7″ single in 2025.\nTheir sound blends high-energy rock ’n roll with the attitude and speed of punk, creating songs that are both gritty and instantly catchy. THE VIBRATORS, SLAUGHTER & THE DOGS,THE BOYS and SONNY VINCENT are all channeled with reckless, fresh energy and an old-school rock ’n roll attitude.\nThe original songs of this young band hit hard and their love for the genre shows through their choice to cover some very obscure proto-punk gems like “HIGH DEGREE” by NEXT and “PUSHIN’ TOO HARD” by the aforementioned VIBRATORS.\nMore than anything, Automatic Lovers show that despite being a genre that is 50 years old now, punk music can still sound just as fresh like back in the day when the bands that inspired them first set foot on a stage. These young guns are more than well equipped to preserve and bring this raw sound into the future!\nGRÖSSRAMA\nUn puñado de fechas exclusivas de Grössrama en España, en la celebración de la reedición en vinilo, por parte del sello Beat Generation (Munster), de su único disco de 1992. En su ya habitual labor arqueológica el sello se ha desplazado a lo más profundo de los EE.UU., a Wisconsin, tierra de reservas indias y fríos lagos.\n \nProyecto de punk rock formado por Jeff DeGoey (guitarra y voz), Timm Buechler (bajo) y Mark Hillstrom (batería) a la sombra de Rebelwaltz, la banda a la que pertenecían los dos primeros. En el verano de 1992, graban la cinta Keep you Eyes in the Sky, un trabajo que titularían bajo la alucinación del guitarrista por la cuestión de los OVNIs.\n \nEmparentados con el espíritu de The Replacements o de la escudería Touch and Go, centrada en variantes del rock estadounidense alejado de los circuitos más comerciales. También paralelos a Minutemen, trío como los de Wisconsin, con una propuesta no apta para todos los oídos, o de la primitiva simplicidad de los primeros Violent Femmes mezclada con la gasolina de MC5 o Stooges.\n \nDe trayectoria muy corta, dejaron actuaciones poderosas y la mencionada cassette, recuperada ahora en vinilo. La edición no deja de tener además tintes de conmemoración, porque en 2024 fallece Mark, el batería. A modo de homenaje el trío (con el conocido batería americano pero afincado en España, Christopher Bongers ocupando el puesto libre a la batería) da unas cuantos conciertos en la zona de Green Bay y ahora se traen su música a nuestro país para unos bolos celebratorios de aquellos años.\n \n\n\n\n
